​The Orange Couch Series came to me in a dream. The painting above was the dream, and from there it just morphed into a life of it's own. Right now I have 2 different Orange Couch series. One is "Let's talk about dogs", which is all different kinds of dogs doing all different kinds of things on an orange couch. The second is "Family portraits", which is exactly what it sounds like. To create a "custom Couch", I make the people in the family into animals, I even include their pets, or just put theirs pets in the portrait.  I try to capture the essence of the person and their family. I also create a lot just from my imagination. "Custom Couches" are great gifts for someone who would like an original by unique portrait.
